biography
He studied Performing Arts at the University of Rome. He works as a writer, assistant director, and producer in film, theater, and television, collaborating with directors such as Guido Chiesa and Pupi Avati. With Discanto (1995), his entirely self-produced debut short film, he won the Venice Film Festival, and with Rose (1997) the Ministry of Culture's Quality Award. He participated in the series I mestieri del cinema, produced by the National Film School, directing over twenty documentaries.
