Africa Light - Gray Zone

Directed by

Called Africa light by its inhabitants, Namibia has all the clichès film documentaries have traditionally associated with Africa natural raw beauty and breathtaking scenery but without showing the country's dramatic social conditions. Following Kubrick's notion that whatever can be written or thought can also be filmed, Schwanemann presents a true-to-life portrait that diverges starkly from glossy stereotyped depictions.
